Saturday May 13th. Musician Workshop 12 -1pm, Community Concert 4-5pm. Duo Lejano is a new collaborative project featuring violinist Miguel Calleja and guitarist Ben Ellis. Melding the traditional with the contemporary, Duo Lejano programs music from the 18th to the 21st century. While pairing music by composers such as Piazzola and Falla with contemporary composers like Barbra Kolb, Duo Lejano explores the colors and textures of their combined instrumentation.
